Goose that Laid the Golden Egg

This is nothing new yet good to refresh:

A man and his wife had the good fortune to possess a goose which laid a golden egg every day.

Lucky though they were, they soon began to think they were not getting rich fast enough, and, imagining the bird must be made of gold inside, they decided to kill it in order to secure the whole store of precious metal at once.

But when they cut it open they found it was just like any other goose.

Thus, they neither got rich all at once, as they had hoped, nor enjoyed any longer the daily addition to their wealth.

Think again, IF you happened to be the Goose that Laid the Golden Egg (YOURSELF is the goose), doesn’t it mean something is wrong and the situation need to be fixed ASAP?

Morals:

1. Much wants more yet often loses all.
2. Greed destroys the source of good.
3. Think before you act.
4. In today’s modern world, if you have investment vehicles to produce income for you, you may be creating multiple streams of passive income and not relying only on yourself’s hard work to survive (too depends on non-passive residual income).
